How to Get the CID of a Google Business Profile (GBP)

What is a CID?

The CID (Customer ID) is a unique numeric identifier for your Google Business Profile. It’s used for integrations, reporting, or troubleshooting your listing.

Steps to Retrieve the CID

1. Copy Your Business’s Google Maps URL:

   - Go to [Google Maps](https://www.google.com/maps).

   - Search for your business and open its profile.

   - Copy the full URL from your browser’s address bar.

2. Paste the URL into CIDFinder.com:

   - Visit [https://cidfinder.com/](https://cidfinder.com/).

   - Paste the copied Google Maps URL into the tool’s input field.

   - Click GET CID.

3. Get Your CID and CIDURL:

   - The tool will extract and display the CID (e.g., `12345678901234567890`).

   - It will also generate a CIDURL (a direct link containing the CID parameter).

  • Another method:

    • Do a search in Google Maps for the business name and make sure it’s the only result that shows up.
    • Replace http:// with view-source: in the URL
    • Click CTRL+F and search the source code for “ludocid”
    • The CID will be the string of numbers after “ludocid\\u003d” and before #lrd

Example: If this is the code, the CID is in red:

ON+L3Y+4V8\\u0026ludocid\\u003d18208190227674681406#lrd\\u003d0x882ace1b6df9d1db:0xfcb07c8a7b49d03e
