Step-by-Step Guide to Add an SSL Certificate to a Duda Website

Step 1: Open the Website Builder

  • Log in to the website builder from your Umbrella dashboard:


Step 2: Access SEO & Settings

  • Click on the Edit button to access the editing options:

  • In the SEO & Settings panel, click on the Site SSL option:

Step 4: Ensure Custom Domain is Set Up

  • Ensure that all DNS records are properly set up with your domain registrar. 

Step 5: Generate the SSL Certificate

  • Click on the Generate Certificate button:


  • The system will begin creating the SSL certificate for your site.

Step 6: Confirm SSL Status

  • The status will indicate Approved when the SSL setup is successful:

Step 7: Publish the Website

  • After the SSL certificate is generated and the status shows Approved, publish your website:


Go to your website by typing your web address in the browser, starting with "https://" (e.g., https://yourwebsite.com) to check if it’s secure. If everything is set up correctly, you should see a padlock icon next to the address.
